Is Qualicum Landing a strata community?
Yes. The Strata Lots will be fully detached single family homes owned individually, together with a proportionate share in the common property (including swimming pool and hot tub), of the development and other assets of the Strata Corporation. Each Strata Lot owner will pay a monthly fee that covers common area expenses.
How many homes will be built?
Qualicum Landing will have 62 beach homes in total, with seven different home plans to choose from.
Where is Qualicum Landing located?
5251 West Island Highway – Oceanside Route, just north of Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island. Please see the bottom of the page for a link to our driving directions.
What are the monthly fees associated with my beach home?
You will be responsible for your monthly strata fees of approximately $350 per month.
Can I rent my beach home?
Many of the purchasers will call Qualicum Landing their home, however you may choose to rent it individually or through a vacation rental company.
Do you have a property management company?
We have selected a local company to manage your property should you wish to rent it. You may also rent your home using another vacation management company, or by yourself.
Can I purchase a furniture package?
Yes, furniture packages are available
When will the construction begin?
Construction on phase one is complete. Phase two will be ready in March. Please visit our photo gallery for current construction photos.
Is there financing available?
Qualicum Landing has excellent financing packages available through our specialized mortgage consultant Robyn MacKay.
When will the clubhouse be built?
The clubhouse, pool, fitness center and spas will be open in July 2010.
